The Word of God and the Holy Spirit empowers parents to be bold in authority, guidance and direction in their divine missions to train up children so that they will not depart.  We at New Hope have been bountifully blessed to teach, train, serve and support families.  We strive to train our children in obedience to God's Word.  New Hope has blazed multiple trails that result in milestone footprints in our archives.  We teach and train from the doctrine of the Holy Bible and are guided by the Word of God.  Our families are testimonies of the miracles that, standing firm in the Word and faith, has garnered in our lives.. As the Word of God feed our spirits, we trust in Him for the success of this ministry and continuously seek the manifestations of His Word.

Purpose

To empower and enhance parents to be the best they can be physically, mentally and spiritually.

Mission

To provide resources, education and support to the village that includes parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles caregivers, teachers, etc.  Each member will share and receive from each other in the village.

Service Opportunities

Members of this ministry will share talents and gifts with other members with the goal of having our children raised by the village.

Qualifications

Each parenting ministry member must have a passion, vision, and willingness to extend gifts in service for the benefit of those in the village.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the parenting ministry include providing resources and education (training) and support  Some resources may be in the form of collaboration and/or referrals.

The Parenting Ministry is offering a special

Parent Café

for Adoptive Parents and Grandparents raising their grandchildren. Come join us every second Tuesday of the month, 6:30 - 8:00 PM, starting November 13, 2012.  Let us support, share and learn from each other as we strengthen our families together.  We will share resources from the Circle of Parents group.
