Mission
of Children’s Church:
It is the mission of the NHMBCC to provide the premiere spiritual foundation
for children, teaching and training them in the spiritual knowledge and
understanding of the bible, Baptist doctrine, roles and responsibilities
of membership in church and Christian living for Christ.
Authorizing Scripture:
Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will
not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6
Description:
The youth up to the age of 12 participate in service geared to their
age in the Youth room and the other classrooms. All youth ministries
serve in their appropriate capacity. This provides an opportunity
for them to receive hands on experience in carrying out the functions
of a church. It also provides them with a since of ownership for
their service.
Classes
are setup as follows:

Nursery
for three months to two years - The Nursery
is open every Sunday during 10:45 service. They learn about
Christ through songs, videos, stories, puppet shows, coloring
and games.

Three
year olds - They learn about Christ through
songs, videos, stories, puppet shows, coloring and games.

Pre-K
and Kindergarten - Learn memory verses,
crafts, lessons using stories, puppet shows, games, song
and classroom setting.

First
and second grade - Learn memory verses,
have crafts, lessons using stories, puppet shows, games,
songs in a classroom setting.

Third
and fourth grade - Learn memory verses,
have crafts, lessons using stories, puppet shows, videos,
games, songs in a classroom setting.

Fifth
and sixth grade - Learn memory verses,
have lessons using stories, videos, puppet shows, games,
songs in a classroom setting.
All
students in Children’s Church participate in Praise and Worship,
have a snack, play games to facilitate learning and receive prizes
for learning and good behavior.
Dates:
2nd, 3rd, and fourth Sundays from 11:00 am to 1:00 p.m. or whenever the
adult service ends.
